Terms of service

Who we are
FaxTheWeb is operated by FaxTheWeb, New York, NY, USA. Contact: hello@faxtheweb.com.
What the service does
You upload a PDF, choose one destination and one fax number, and pay. We send the document as a fax to that one recipient through a third-party fax carrier. Each payment covers one document sent to one recipient. U.S./Canada: $2.99 for up to 10 document pages. Supported international destinations: $9.99 for up to 5 document pages. One optional cover page is included. No bundles.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Payment is one-time. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your card number.
- Taxes: The price shown is the price you pay. We do not add sales tax or fees at checkout.
What “delivered” means
“Delivered” means the receiving fax system accepted the transmission. It does not mean a person read the fax, or that a court, agency, doctor or any other organization accepted it as a valid filing or submission. Check with the recipient if it matters.
If delivery fails
See refunds and failed faxes. We limit retries. We do not resend a fax automatically when part of it may already have been received, or when we cannot confirm the result.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you send and for entering the correct number.
- You must follow our acceptable use rules and the rules of our fax carrier and applicable law.
- Fax is not an end-to-end encrypted channel. Do not send material you are not allowed to send by fax.
Your documents
We keep your document only to send it. We delete our copy after the fax finishes, and within 7 days at most if a fax is under review. Our fax carrier may keep its own copy under its own rules, which we do not control. See the privacy notice.
No guarantees and limits on liability
Fax delivery depends on networks and machines we do not control. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any fax is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
Stopping or refusing a fax
We may refuse or cancel a fax that breaks these terms or the law. If we cancel a paid fax, we refund it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law of your home country requires otherwise.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date. Changes apply to faxes ordered after the new date. We do not email customers about minor edits.
